Possessing a thoroughly US sense of geography, I had no idea that Russia actually shares a border with Korea. That's a weird looking little set of territorial ithsmusses (sp?).
The Yalu River divides North Korea from China, and Tuman River separates North Korea from China and Russia. The place where three borders meet, I was told, is supposed to be a great tourist attraction for its splendid scenery, especially in winter.

ReplyDeleteAlso, isthmus is the correct spelling.
